About BUDZI
Budzi Brene Bantar is the founding director and lead researcher/investigator at Ecologic Views. He is a holder of a Master of Science Degree in Geography from the University of Buea. He is passionate about innovative environmental research practices and solutions towards protection and conservation that bring about holistic well-being. He is driven by the principles of impact investing, provides leadership and strategic direction, ensures the effective implementation of programs and projects, and oversees EV’s functions.
Budzi has volunteered at ECoDAs Cameroon as an environmental actor, where he acquired valuable hands-on experience in conservation projects and community engagement initiatives. Budzi has also developed a deep interest in computers and data science; he teaches Computer for Business as a short course and Data Science.
He studied Curriculum Studies and Teaching/Geography at the Faculty of Education, graduating in 2019 with a B.Ed. He received his MSc. in 2022 from the Department of Geography, Faculty of Social and Management Sciences, University of Buea.
